The West Texas Young Farmers Association was once originally the Terry County Young Farmers Association. In the early 2000s a group of young men whose father were once involved with the original association decided to start it up again. The group is made up of young farmers from ages 21-39 and focus on informing others in the industry and farming community on ag policy. The Association shares not only photos and video, but information that they believe may be of service to those who keep up with them on Facebook.

I am a proud alum of the Department of Agricultural Education & Communications at Texas Tech. I received my BS in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Political Science in May 2020. After graduation, I began working as a legal assistant at the Lopez Law Firm in Weslaco, Texas. I plan to attend St. Mary's School of Law starting Fall 2021.
